On China...
Yesterday, I said I was having trouble finding a strong column defending the Trump tariffs. Today, I found one. As always, this isn’t an endorsement of one side over the other. It’s an attempt to present each side’s best arguments so you aren’t left with a caricature of the other party’s voters. (Party leaders? Go nuts. If they can't come across as nuanced and three-dimensional with all the airtime they hoover up, that’s on them.) Everyday voters deserve the benefit of the doubt, though. Columns like today’s offer it in spades.
