While Donald Trump kept a number of his campaign promises vague enough that he could backtrack should they prove unpopular (that’s a politician’s trick, not a Trump trick), he always stood firm on his trade and tax positions. He would level the trade deficit with tariffs, and he would extend/increase the tax cuts from his first term.
Today’s link addresses both those promises. It’s a bit in the weeds, but it’s also quite interesting. Just as interesting is the site hosting it.
