Yesterday, I mentioned the national Democratic Party needed to do some soul-searching. Since then, I’ve heard some pretty stunning things from a few of its pundits and politicians. Not stunning in the sense that they took my advice, but that they took to insulting the electorate. I considered providing quotes here, but what purpose would that serve? Especially when there are pundits and politicians actually engaging in soul-searching. On Julie Mason’s Sirius XM show yesterday, Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) said, “I think people are sending out the message that there are issues they care about and maybe they don’t think we’re listening or doing enough.”
To be fair to the representative, she’s been ringing that bell for months. But today’s link provides evidence the party mandarins might finally have gotten the message. What they do with it remains to be seen. They’ve got two years to show us.
