The past couple days, I’ve said the vice presidential debate won’t make a difference in the election. It still won’t, but I read today’s link and thought, “That doesn’t mean it can’t be discussed a third day in a row.” Because the link is also about where voters stand on the issues and why the race is as close as it is.
This column won’t please everyone. It’s very possible it won’t please anyone — the author is unaccountably unpopular to many. He’s an honest broker, though, and as far as I’m aware, he’s completely inoffensive. He just runs the numbers, offers his thoughts, and then goes off to study gambling. There’s no ideology to it, which is a refreshing change of pace. So I hope you enjoy.
